Making sense of corporate carbon footprint disclosuresThe Mycelium score is the overall sustainability score out of ten we have awarded an organisation. It has been designed to fairly benchmark corporate carbon footprints against their industry peers.
An organisation’s Mycelium score is calculated based on several factors, with 7.5 awarded for an organisations emissions intensity compared to the rest of its industry, and 2.5 for the quality of the data it has provided.
In this white paper we delve into exactly how and why we score the way we do. We answer questions such as:
how can a company score 10/10 on the Mycelium scale?
What is the normalisation process and why is it so important?
How is the transparency score calculated?
