1. Purpose of Access
This Academic API Licence (“Licence”) governs access to Mycelium Network Ltd (“Mycelium”) emissions data for academic, institutional, and non-profit research purposes.
By accessing or using the data, you (“the User”) agree to the terms of this Licence.
2. Permitted Use
2.1. The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the data for:
- academic research and analysis;
- modelling and statistical work;
- publication in academic journals, reports, or public-interest outputs.
2.2. Use must be strictly non-commercial.
3. Attribution
3.1. All use of the data in publications, reports, or public outputs must include the following attribution:
“Data sourced from Mycelium Network (mycelium.global)”
3.2. The User must not imply endorsement by Mycelium without prior written consent.
4. Restrictions on Use
The User must not:
- use the data for commercial purposes;
- integrate the data into commercial systems or services;
- resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data;
- misrepresent the source, accuracy, or ownership of the data.
5. Data Integrity
5.1. The User may transform or analyse the data, but must not present modified data as original Mycelium data.
5.2. Derived datasets must not be attributed to Mycelium unless agreed in writing.
6. Data Disclaimer
6.1. The data is provided “as is”.
6.2. Mycelium makes no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
Mycelium shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the data.
8. Term and Termination
8.1. This Licence is effective from the date of acceptance.
8.2. Mycelium may terminate access if the User breaches these terms.
8.3. Upon termination, the User must cease use of the data.
9. Governing Law
This Licence is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10. Future Access and Upgrades
10.1. Continued use of Mycelium data beyond evaluation may require an Academic Licence or a Commercial Licence.
10.2. Mycelium reserves the right to modify access terms, introduce pricing, or require Users to transition to a different licence tier.
